B2B SaaS Platform for Inventory Management
Development of a multitenant SaaS from scratch with Next.js and Supabase to automate stock and order management for wholesale distributors.
The Context
A group of wholesale distributors faced constant stockouts and order preparation errors due to disconnected legacy systems. The lack of real-time visibility caused lost sales and a poor experience for their retail customers. They needed a robust, fast, and modern solution.
The Solution
We built a comprehensive multitenant SaaS product focused on performance and user experience:
- Cloud-Native Architecture: Using Next.js and Supabase, we designed a secure, isolated database for each tenant, ensuring data privacy and immediate horizontal scalability.
- Real-Time Dashboard: An intuitive control panel with real-time subscriptions. Inventory changes are instantly reflected on the screens of all warehouse operators.
- Integrated Billing: Connection with Stripe Billing to manage subscriptions across different customer tiers, fully automating collection and invoice generation.
The Impact
The product was launched as a functional MVP in just 6 weeks. It currently manages inventory for over 200 B2B clients. Order preparation errors plummeted by 85% thanks to real-time synchronization, and ultra-fast load times (100/100 on Lighthouse) radically improved tool adoption among operators.
